What we collect
When you contact ScaleLab AI, we may collect your name, email address, callback phone number, business type, service interests, message, and the information you choose to share with our AI assistant. We also collect basic website usage information through Google Analytics, such as pages visited, device type, and general location.
Links in our emails
Some emails we send to businesses contain a link to our website with a unique, random code. When that link is opened, we record that it was used and how our page was engaged with, such as whether the page was visible, whether our explainer video played and how much of it, whether the booking button was used, and the general type of browser and device. We use this only to measure and improve our outreach and follow-up. The code identifies the link we sent, not your device: it is removed from the address bar when the page loads, we don't set cookies or fingerprint devices for this, and we don't share the code with Google Analytics or advertisers.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, recommend relevant services, operate and improve our website and AI assistant, prevent misuse, and maintain business records. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
Contact-form submissions are processed by Formspree. AI-assistant messages are processed through our hosted backend and Anthropic's AI services. Website analytics are processed by Google Analytics. Meetings booked on our website are scheduled through Google Calendar appointment scheduling, which processes the name and email address you enter. Hosting, database and email providers may also process information as needed to deliver these services.
Storage and retention
AI-assistant lead details may be stored on our application server and sent to our business email. Contact-form submissions are retained in Formspree and our email systems. Records of email links and page engagement are kept for up to 24 months, and detailed engagement events for up to 13 months. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, legal obligations, and dispute resolution.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we control, subject to applicable Canadian law. You may also choose not to use the contact form or AI assistant and contact us directly by email.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Some providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
